For when you want to disappear somewhere very quiet for a couple of days. 🌿

The Paddock is a secluded bell tent retreat in rural Staffordshire, set right on the edge of a reservoir with nothing much around except water, wildlife and open countryside.

Inside, there’s a super-king bed, wood burner and cosy space for two, while outside you’ve got your own wood-fired hot tub and the kind of view that makes doing absolutely nothing feel like a perfectly reasonable plan.

There’s no electricity here either, just solar lighting, which only adds to that properly switched-off feeling.

Slow mornings, long soaks and somewhere beautifully peaceful to come back to. 🩵

A little more sky, a little less usual 🌿

From a shepherd’s hut overlooking the North Norfolk coast to peaceful yurts, countryside hideaways and stays tucked away in Cornwall, Suffolk, the Cotswolds and Yorkshire.

A Yorkshire escape where the dog is very much invited. 🐾🌿

Riverdale is home to four beautiful dog-friendly lodges: Kingfisher, Curlew, Lapwing and Oystercatcher, all set beside the River Ure in the North Yorkshire countryside.

Each lodge sleeps six and comes with plenty of space to settle in, including open-plan living, private decking and easy access to riverside walks and countryside adventures straight from the door. The site has been designed with dogs in mind too, with fenced decking and even a heated dog wash and grooming area for muddy paws after a day exploring.

And while they’re busy enjoying Yorkshire, there’s something pretty good for the humans, too.

Riverdale also has a wood-fired riverside sauna and cold plunge experience, overlooking the River Ure. Staying guests receive 10% off when booking a private session, making it a very tempting addition after a long walk through the Dales.
