A Roof Survey Carried Out In Lancaster Over The Weekend 🏠

The Buyer Of This Particular Property Was Advised By Their Solicitor To Have A Full Roof Survey Carried Out Before Buying Due To The Lack Of Paperwork Relating To The Roof.

On Inspection We Found Their To Be A Number Of Issues......

We Found Many Areas Where The Ridge Clips Were Missing From The Dry Ridge System and Also The Ridges Had Been Sealed With A Fake Lead In Areas Clips Have Not Been Used.
There Are Also No Hip Trays Below The Ridges Meaning There Is No Second Barrier Below The Clips And Due To This The Ridges Are Not Sat Flush and Are Very Uneven In Many Places.

We Also Found That The Join To The Neighbouring Property Has Been Installed Incorrectly Which Will Cause Many Issues In The Long Run.

The Main Roof Itself Has Also Been Installed Very Poorly and We Would Advise The Roof Is Removed and Replaced, As Some Of The Main Issues Are Not Accessible Without Doing This.
