Not all asbestos surveys are the same. Here’s what matters!

A lot of people think an asbestos survey is just part of the paperwork.

The type of survey you choose changes what gets found.

1️⃣ A management survey is used for buildings that are in normal use. It focuses on identifying materials that could contain asbestos without opening things up.

2️⃣ A refurbishment or demolition survey goes further. It involves getting behind walls, under floors, and into areas you wouldn’t normally see.

If the wrong one is carried out, things get missed. That usually shows up once work has already started, which is where problems begin.
