Maintenance & Project Co-ordinator
Are you looking to join a small progressive business who pride themselves on providing a personal and excellent customer service whilst having the ability to use your own initiative and work autonomously? Then we have a great opportunity to join us as a Maintenance & Project Co-ordinator working within the Lancashire area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling and following up property maintenance reported by our tenants. To effectively support the team to progress their maintenance requests to ensure tenants are given an excellent service through effective handling of enquiries and ensuring all maintenance requests are carried out in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for liaising directly with contractors and Landlord clients to progress repairs from immediate authorisation to seeking out quotes on more complex requirements.
On occasion you will be required to visit properties to review work carried out or gain further details to progress the repair.
For refurbishment projects we will need you to be able to utilise the same skills for both the company and our clients.
Essential Skills and Behaviours
Experience within the property/maintenance industry able to demonstrate your ability to effectively liaise with multiple contractors to ensure the smooth completion of a project/maintenance issue.
Regular administration tasks will include processing invoices and managing files, ensuring documents are stored correctly and meet legal requirements
You will require excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
A strong communicator via both telephone and email
A can-do attitude who can use their own initiative to make sound decisions
