It’s been a huge decision to make! But it’s time to let go of my wonderful family home, and home of Peak Inside! She’s been the heart of our lives for the past 10 years, in the most gorgeous of Peak District communities. But onwards to new beginnings and pastures new! She is looking for a new family to look after her and make new memories. Please feel free to share or message me directly. Alex Heslop

Looking over our past designs, and my favourite of ceilings! The beautiful barn at Bleaklow. Boy did it take some plastering, painting and rigging! And a lot of scaffolding! Pure joy!

🎉🥂 The Merchant’s Yard is 9! 🥳✨

We’re so proud of everything we’ve achieved over the years, and it’s all thanks to our incredible team and the wonderful customers who have supported us.

From welcoming our regulars every week for dinner, coffee and Sunday roasts, to unforgettable parties, surprise stays, engagements, weddings, christenings, and everything in between, it’s been an amazing journey so far and we have loved being part of all your stories.

Here’s to many more years of great memories, delicious food, and warm hospitality, thank you for being a part of our story and cheers to 9 years! 🥂✨

Ps - full disclosure, the cake was made by one of our managers, our chef's icing skills are much neater! 😉😂

For high quality, fresh meat, shop at your local butchers. We have a wider range of cuts and meats available in-store than you’d find in many supermarkets. Why not pop in and browse our butchers counter, farm shop and deli counter? You can find us in Bakewell and Matlock.
