Great ideas here β¦
You don't need a festival wristband for the best August of your life here in Cornwall. Share this to anyone holidaying here this month!
We've ruled out anything pricey including tickets for the likes of Boardmasters and Tunes in the park, and we've trawled the internet and the best of our locals knowledge to refine this list.
Here's what costs nothing (or next to it) this month:

πͺ Falmouth Week, 7β16 Aug - free shore-side entertainment, the Pink Wig Mermaid March (7th), Red Arrows and fireworks.
π Newquay Lifeboat Day, 8th Aug - free event to raise money for the RNLI- parades, singing, samba band, lifeboat demos, raffle
π Newquay Harbour Sports Day, 9th August - free, exactly what it says on the tin for families!
β΅ Fowey Royal Regatta & Carnival, 17β23 Aug - parades, fireworks, all free to watch from the quay.
π» St Endellion Summer Festival, near Port Isaac (until 7 Aug) - concerts and workshops.
