It has been a privilege to be asked to be the principal contractor completing works ranging from ground clearance (involving the removal of hundreds of tons of material) to foundations, services, and joinery, right through to plastering, decorating landscaping, and all sorts in-between!
The couple are delighted with the outcome of this new build; designed developed and delivered to the spec and the finish they have dreamed of.

We've had some great weather over the last 7 weeks, allowing for excellent progress on this extension - albeit a bit sweaty! Access is very tricky to and from this hillside quarryman's cottage, and we've hit granite bedrock which has taken some breaking. We're now watertight, 1st fix electrics complete and we're on to insulating and plastering. The pressure has been on to return a working bathroom to this family, but we're ahead of schedule to get that done. Very grateful to the team for their hard work and skills.

IT IS FINISHED! Having worked hard over several months, this 6/7 bedroom chapel conversion is now complete!

We at Morris Build for Life were considering keeping the chapel and running it as a holiday let company. However, we've decided to stick to what we are good at which is building and renovating - rather than starting to run yet another business.

So please do have a look at the photos below. We will highlight different areas of the build in the next few days, but in the mean time, please make comments, press like, and share with your friends.....
