A Recent Kitchen Transformation 🔥

Out with the old, in with the new.

We recently completed this full kitchen installation — stripping out the existing kitchen and reworking the space to create a clean, modern finish with a Howdens kitchen.

By removing the corner partition, we opened the room up giving our client more worktop space, improved flow, and plenty of extra storage.

We also installed a full wall of larder units with integrated appliances, bringing both style and practicality together.

We’re currently working on a kitchen refurbishment project within a care home alongside Simon J Cole General Builder and TDS Construction

The works involve removing the existing fixtures and fittings, preparing and levelling the walls, and installing hygiene wall cladding to create a clean, durable and wipeable surface suitable for a commercial kitchen environment.

Due to the nature of the building and the importance of maintaining kitchen facilities for the residents, the work is being carried out during the evenings/ early hours. This ensures the kitchen remains fully operational throughout the day to meet the residents’ needs while allowing us to complete the refurbishment with minimal disruption

We are very excited with our upgraded kitchen project coming on. This will give us more space where our young people can gather and chat; something they really like to do with our volunteers.

We are really grateful to AJB Carpentry and Maintenance SW for fitting the work in over half term and to Howdens of Saltash for donating the kitchen units and worktop.

Nice, easy job to round off a Saturday ✅️

After helping some friends this morning dismantle furniture and move it into their garage as they prepare to move house, I headed home to complete a small install for a lovely customer in St Dominick.

The original gate had become tired and was damaged during the recent winds and storms, so I made a brand-new gate, painted it in advance, and installed it along with new posts.
Great to get another happy customer sorted.

A recent job completed

We were called out to repair a stair tread that had failed and collapsed, making it unsafe for the family living there.

The damaged tread was removed, and access to the underside of the staircase was required, so part of the cupboard wall was carefully cut out to allow safe and proper repairs.

A new tread was then cut and shaped to fit before being glued, screwed, and wedged securely into place to ensure long-term strength and safety.

To finish, gripper rods were installed, the carpet refitted, and the cupboard wall patched back in, leaving the area safe, solid, and tidy once again

Happy New Year 2026! 🎉
Wishing a very happy new year to you all, and thank you for your continued support throughout what was a tough year in 2025.

Breaking my leg and returning to work just over a month before the Christmas shutdown certainly wasn’t easy, but I’m incredibly grateful for all the support, well wishes, and work along the way. It really meant a lot!

A recent tiling project we’ve completed for Mustard Seed Evangelical Church in Callington.

We really enjoyed working on this job and are very happy with the finished result, as is the Church.

There were plenty of sockets to cut out, but we’re always up for a challenge and proud of how it turned out.
