During an inspection of the roof space of an 18th Century Grade II listed terraced cottage in Chiswick, London, evidence of Longhorn Beetle attack was identified.

The finding was reported to the Property Care Association (PCA), who have advised that this is believed to be the first recorded case in the area. A fascinating reminder of the importance of specialist timber inspections, particularly in historic properties.
