Peaceful country site in an isolated valley, only 10 minutes by car from Figueiró dos Vinhos. Guests can stay in a cottage, tiny house, caravan, guest rooms, rental tents, or bring their own tent.

The old farmhouse has guest rooms, clean bathrooms, a cosy bar, and a restaurant with meals by reservation. Outdoor areas include a creek with hammocks, lounge beds, and lovely views.

A small waterfall is 20 minutes away on foot. Rivers, natural pools, hiking routes, canoe hire, cafés, museums, Coimbra, and Tomar are also within reach.

Solar-powered geodesic dome in a private rural setting, about 10 minutes from Coja. The open studio space has a sleeping area, kitchen, living area, small fridge, gas oven, AC unit, and basic kitchenware.

The stay suits adventurous guests who enjoy nature, silence, and simple off-grid living. A separate bathroom and shower cabin is provided, and guests should be ready to manage power, heating, generator use, and the chemical toilet.

A car is required. Access is by a 1 km dirt track, usually fine for normal cars, but muddy in winter. River beaches, villages, markets, hiking, and Serra da Estrela are within reach.

Inside, there is a queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower, flat-screen TV, and a well-equipped kitchenette. Large glass doors bring in light and views, while indoor chairs offer a calm place to relax.

The location is a good base for exploring the Silver Coast, with Caldas 15 minutes away and Lisbon airport under 1 hour away. Pets are not allowed.
