We are currently recruiting for a Part II (RIBA) Architectural Assistant to join our Practice in the Canterbury area. Since 1984 we have focused on providing excellence in design and client care, and this opportunity can allow the successful candidate to develop their career under the direction of the two Practice Architects.
We are seeking a well motivated individual who can work equally well on their own or part of a team, demonstrating good attention to detail and undertaking of UK construction primarily within the residential sector, but extended to commercial, leisure and public buildings.
Overview of Job Role
• Prepare and present feasible reports and design proposals to client
• Work on multiple projects at any one time
• Advise on the nature and quality of materials needed
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction
• Assist in exciting projects from start to finish
Essential Requirements
• Relevant Degree Qualified
• Minimum 1 years experience within the Residential sector
• Strong experience in AutoCAD LT (2015) or newer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding attention to details and design
• Solid time management skills and the ability to handle multiple jobs
• Right to Work in UK – evidence proof required incl National Insurance No.
Additional Skills Preferred but not essential
• Listed Building/Conservation Knowledge
• Photoshop/CGi/3D Modelling
• Freehand art/drawing perspectives
• CDM experience
• First Aid Training
• UK Driving Licence
