Its been a busy few weeks at Igloo HQ…with Sarah Thompson & Hazel Thomas

We have been doing 3 projects simultaneously, whilst also juggling Easter breaks and life.

There have been some steep learnings when taking more on, especially when we have our other businesses to tend to aswell. But its turned out great... We have created new working relationships and friends and family (Sarah's family have been epic) have helped. Super team effort!!

And... We are delighted to announce our latest property is now live and we welcomed our first guests last weekend who gave us some great feedback.

We always have a theme for our properties and this one was the ‘artists house’ so we had bright pops of colour in mind. We took some risks on this one and I must admit was a little bit scared during the decoratrion that we had made a mistake. And we certainly gave the builders a laugh with the yellow paint!

However, seeing it finished I'm really pleased. We feel it is different from the everyday listings and we feel it stands out as something unique. When it comes to design our desire it to give guests an experience and a nice feeling. I think creating spaces that have 'a heart' is so findamental to this.

Our other 2 properties in Penarth are well underway and will be ready and live by mid May so that means we are now on the lookout for our next projects and would be grateful if you could put us in touch with anyone who comes to mind for any of the following...

1. A small block of apartments to rent. Something with 3-4 flats, possibly a large converted house in either Newport of Cardiff. Property must be empty when we take it on. Could be existing owner or a developer.

2. A small guest house/hotel to rent/lease long term. Something with approx. 7-12 rooms and seperate owners acoomodation in Newport/Cardiff.

3. HMO property - think old student lets that are not renting, or someone who has had enough of managing it.. We would like to offer a full guaranteed management for 3-5 years. Cardiff/Newport.

I would be most welcome for introductions to the right people.
