#🌟 A Special Visit to Tirion — from Tirion! 🌟

As young Tirion and her mum, Sara, were driving past our Royal Victoria Court estate, something special caught their eye — our flag proudly flying with the name Tirion on it!

Delighted to see her beautiful name on display, Sara reached out to ask if we had a spare flag. Of course, we were more than happy to say yes.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Tirion, her mum Sara, and her brother, Cadel to our office in Newport, where we handed over a very special flag just for her.

Tirion is a lovely Welsh name meaning kind or gentle. It also holds deeper roots — often interpreted as “little landholder,” it symbolises a strong connection to heritage, land, and community.

We hope this small gesture brings Tirion joy for years to come — and serves as a beautiful reminder of her name’s meaning and her special link to our community. 💚

🏘️ Tirion Homes completes another £13m refinancing of Royal Victoria Court with M&G Investment.

We are pleased to announce the successful refinancing of the final phase our Royal Victoria Court Newport community. The £13m agreement with our long-term investment partner, M&G Investment, brings total pension fund investment in our developments to £100 million.

At Tirion Homes, our mission is to provide more high-quality homes or less public money and Royal Victoria Court is a leading example. We’ve delivered 528 new homes, with 50% affordable housing, all professionally managed and maintained long-term by our neighbourhood team.

Chad Patel, Finance Director at Tirion Homes, said, “This re-financing milestone not only demonstrates the financial strength and maturity of our property portfolio, but also reinforces institutional confidence in Tirion Homes' long-term housing model. We are particularly grateful to M&G for their continued support and belief in our approach to delivering sustainable communities and social value at scale.”

We’re proud of the impact Royal Victoria Court has already made in Newport and are grateful to our partners, Welsh Government, Principality Building Society and Lovell Homes, alongside M&G Investments, for helping us turn a brownfield site into a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the four housing and communities ministers - Bryant for Newport West, Alex Norris MP, Gordon Lyons MLA and Paul McLellan MSP - to The Mill Living to showcase how a brownfield site can be regenerated into a thriving community that residents are proud to call home.

Oh what a night! It was a chance to get dressed up and celebrate our property industry here in Wales. Both The Mill Living and Royal Victoria Court Newport were up for the same award, and while we didn't quite win on this occasion, it was brilliant being shortlisted amongst some amazing communities here in Wales.

A huge thank you to Powell Dobson and Blake Morgan for inviting us and to the amazing team behind the awards for a fantastic evening. Roll on next year!

We enjoyed being able to recently welcome Jayne Bryant for Newport West and Jessica Morden MP to our newly completed Royal Victoria Court Newport community.

We couldn't be prouder of the homes and the opportunities that they offer our residents. As part of the visit, we popped into meet Paul and his family who were at the risk of homelessness, but now feel safe with a secure, lifetime tenancy.

This is why our homes are more than just bricks and mortar, they offer hope too. Read more by following the link in the comments.

It was a pleasure to welcome the leader of the council Cllr Boutrini and the cabinet member for housing and planning Cllr Adan to our Royal Victoria site today to show the success that 264 homes has delivered for the people of Newport over the past two years and talk about how we can work together in the future. It’s always helps when the sunshine makes the walkaround all the more enjoyable

With it being Mental Health Awareness Week, we wanted to share Gavin's story...

A veteran, who was injured while serving in the armed forces, Gavin was suffering with his mental health and he didn't feel like he could talk about his struggles. After being diagnosed with PTSD, he was living in his truck and just wanted somewhere to call home.

This is where we stepped in and through our work with Wales Veteran Partnerships, we were able to offer Gavin a new start at Royal Victoria Court Newport.
