Moving home isn’t about luck… it’s about having a strategy. 🏡✨

Over the last 24 hours I’ve been out meeting with four clients and, as your Personal Agent, I don’t just come along, value your property and disappear.

We sat down together and discussed, in detail, the strategy to get them moving in what is a very competitive market. And before some of their homes have even launched, I’ve already started looking at what they want to buy next.

Because that’s what personal agency is all about.

It’s about looking after the whole move.

It’s about making the deals work for everyone.

It’s about understanding that not every property will sell at full asking price or over asking price. Wouldn’t that be wonderful and make life easy? But property doesn’t work like that.

Getting moving takes more than hope.

Something from my Style of the City feature this week has stayed with me.

The article quotes me saying that property has never been just about transactions for me. It is about people and their stories.

I have believed that since I started in this industry at 19. But reading it back this week made me think about how much pressure there is right now to move in the opposite direction. Faster. More automated. Less personal.

And yet every single client I have worked with has needed the opposite of that. Someone to listen properly. Someone to tell them the truth. Someone who is still there at the end of the process, not just the beginning.

35 years. That has not changed once.

Buyers who come to view in Cowbridge, Penarth, Barry and the Vale more broadly - a significant number of them are relocating from London.

And it's not just the price difference.

It's the coastline 20 minutes from Cardiff. The village high streets. The school choices. The pace.
