🚨 Resident Alert - Hillside, Maryport 🚨

We've been made aware of people door knocking in the Hillside area of Maryport claiming to be from Castles & Coasts.

⚠️ Please be vigilant and always ask to see photo ID before allowing anyone into your home.

✅ All Castles & Coasts staff and contractors will carry identification and will be happy to show it.

If you're unsure about a visitor, do not let them in and contact us directly to verify their identity.

🚲 Help make your bike less attractive to thieves and more likely to be recovered!

Allerdale Police are offering FREE bike marking today at the Hillside Office between 3pm and 5pm.

📍 Hillside Office, Ellenfoot Drive, Maryport

Tomorrow we will be doing FREE bike marking on Thursday the 10th of September between 3pm and 5pm. This will be at the Hillside office on Ellenfoot Drive Maryport alongside our colleagues at Castles and Coasts.

Bring you bikes along and help protect them from thieves.

Our colleagues are making a real difference in the communities we serve 💙

This year, our colleagues have raised an incredible £2,104 through two sponsored fundraising walks. With Castles & Coasts matching the total pound for pound, £4,208 will be donated to the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

That means colleagues have now helped raise more than £19,000 for the air ambulance since we became a corporate charity partner.. 🙌

But the support doesn't stop there.

Colleagues also volunteered their time and skills to help improve Hospice at Home Carlisle & North Lakeland retail facilities in Penrith, carrying out joinery, plumbing and electrical work to create a more welcoming space for staff, volunteers and customers.

A huge thank you to everyone who has taken part, donated, volunteered or supported our fundraising efforts this year.

🏡 Three of our Independent Living communities have been given a fresh look with new flooring in their communal areas.

New flooring has been installed at Cragside Court, Hadleigh Court and Wadham Court, with 93% of residents telling us they are satisfied with the results and 89% rating the flooring as good or excellent.

Residents also praised the professionalism of our contractors throughout the work. Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback and supported the project.
