With cooler days, crisp mornings and plenty of muddy paws on the cards, it’s a great time of year to give your dog plenty of space to run, explore and enjoy some secure off-lead time at the Parc Dewi Sant Dog Park🐶🌿

🥕 Fresh from the Parc Dewi Sant Wellbeing Gardens CIC 🌱

Our community garden stall is now offering a selection of fresh, seasonal vegetables grown right here at Parc Dewi Sant.

The stall is open:
🌿 Tuesday mornings
🌿 All day Thursday

What’s available will depend on what’s ready to harvest, so you may find something different each week, including tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, beans, chillies, squash, lettuce, radishes and more 🍅🥒🌶️

Our vegetables are grown without chemical sprays. As with all fresh produce, we recommend washing everything thoroughly before eating.

💳 QR code and cash payments are accepted. Simply scan the QR code at the stall, enter the total and pay. If you’d prefer to pay with cash, one of our volunteers will be happy to help.

Every purchase helps support our community garden and enables us to continue providing fresh vegetables to Christchurch Foodbank 💚

Please note, the stall operates on a trust and honesty basis and CCTV is in operation.

We’re pleased to be welcoming Pinnacle Workforce Training Ltd to Parc Dewi Sant this September for their Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering (RQF).

This nationally recognised qualification is ideal for anyone working in catering, hospitality, care, education or food service, covering essential areas including food safety hazards, personal hygiene, temperature control, food storage, cleaning and disinfection, pest control and contamination prevention.

The course is suitable for restaurants, cafés, care homes, schools, hotels, catering businesses and community organisations.

💙 Registered charities and eligible third-sector organisations may also benefit from reduced training rates.

Meet Emma Williams of The Eczema and Skin Health Clinic, based here at Parc Dewi Sant 💚

Emma is a registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience as an eczema specialist, supporting people living with eczema, psoriasis, rosacea and other skin concerns.

In this video, Emma tells us a little more about the clinic, the support she offers and how she helps patients better understand and manage their skin with practical, evidence-based advice and personalised care.
