Welcome to Ford House, a luxury Grade II listed self-catering home that sleeps 10 in Cartmel, Cumbria. Ford House has been refurbished to a superior 5-star standard. The accommodation has been thoughtfully designed, offering luxury and comfort along with many original features – character beams, log fires and a farmhouse flag floor – plus the added benefit of an under floor heating system. There are five good sized bedrooms and three well appointed bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. This double fronted period property with walled garden is located in the heart of the village square of the quaint and historic South Lakeland village of Cartmel, famous for its sticky toffee pudding and the Cartmel Races. Cartmel offers a Michelin star restaurant, great pubs, high-class shops and well-stocked delis, with plenty to do and see in the area.
