A decade of success!

We'd like to share the news that, from June 2025, Bridge Homes will no longer exist as a joint venture between Vico Homes and Wakefield Council.

Bridge Homes was established in 2015 in partnership with WDH (now Vico Homes) and Wakefield Council, to bring more much needed, high quality, sustainable homes to the district. Since then, we have built almost 350 new homes and helped create five fantastic communities.

Over the last ten years Wakefield has become a really attractive place for developers and we feel that we have achieved exactly what we set out to do. Wakefield is on the map, is growing and more and more homes are being built. That’s why we’ve chosen to step back from developing new homes for sale through the joint venture and close Bridge Homes.

Customers will continue to be supported by our great team and we’d like to thank them for their support over the last ten years.

We have had a hugely successful decade, creating great neighbourhoods where people feel proud to live and helping people to find their dream homes.

Vico Homes will continue to work closely with Wakefield Council and other local authorities to provide high quality housing where it’s needed and we have big plans for the future.
