Hog Barn at Howe End Luxury 200 year old barn conversion holiday let in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. One either end of the barn providing space and privacy.

Relax in comfort with underfloor heating and log burner fire. Both double bedrooms have smart TV’s & en-suite shower rooms. The open plan kitchen area is fully equipped and provides a large breakfast bar for socialising. The barn has a large private outdoor space with views of the moors. The Space:

bed with large en-suite shower room. The second bedroom can be made up as a super king size bed or two single beds, also with an en-suited shower room. The rustic barn includes features such as beams, exposed stone walls and a log burning fire. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, microwave, kettle. toaster, dishwasher and two fridges with small freezer compartments. There’s a washing machine & dryer in the storage room for the use of guests, accessed next to the parking spaces. Outside, there is a large patio with a bbq, table & chairs and a vast garden space for private use. This space backs onto moorland with scenic walks for stunning views of the Esk Valley. Parking is available for up to two vehicles opposite the rear of the barn and further parking is a available in the main yard.

The Dark Skies Festival is returning to the North York Moors from 13 Feb–1 Mar 2026, celebrating one of the UK’s best stargazing seasons. ✨ 🔭

The 11-day programme features a mix of stargazing sessions, night walks, expert talks and practical workshops – from night-time photography with local tutors to guided evening moorland adventure walks, astronomy talks with the Whitby Astronomical Society, and themed events exploring the universe.

It’s a great chance for residents and visitors to learn, explore and look up together under truly dark skies. 🌌
