Following my post last month re my contribution to The Times article on pricing, the conversations are still very relevant re pricing correctly. I would reiterate my comments to the journalist that as well as pricing right is getting the marketing tip top. Too often I come across poor marketing. See examples in my comments below.

"Rightmove said that May’s hot weather coincided with a temporary fall in buyer demand before rebounding, and similar dips in demand coincided with the hot weather in June and July. Colleen Babcock, a property expert at Rightmove, said: “This month’s larger-than-normal price fall reflects the reality of a market where buyers have plenty of choice and sellers are having to work harder to stand out and attract them."

Enjoy six weeks of historical fun across the summer holidays for visitors of all ages. Uncover fascinating artefacts hidden throughout the businesses of Caterham Valley, showcasing local history across the ages

Visit our welcome stand tomorrow in Church Walk Shopping Centre to pick up your free trail sheet and get involved

Trail sheets will also be available throughout the summer at the Post Office, the East Surrey Museum, and Caterham Valley Library, or downloadable from our website

Some of the artefacts will be hidden inside businesses - keep an eye out for the brightly coloured ‘Come Inside’ posters. These will be accessible during business opening hours

On Fridays and Saturdays, all our businesses will be open from 10.30am until 4pm. You can find the full list of business opening hours on our website
