Ampfield Meadows How does an abundance of adventure sound? That’s one way to describe the opportunities that lie ahead, both in and around our inspiring new village.

Located in the heart of Hampshire, once home to Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, Ampfield Meadows will be the perfect place to soak up wealth of history and culture. Don’t worry, they’ll also be plenty of spaces to relax and unwind in too! The village name pays homage to its scenic countryside setting, with the nature-rich Trodds Copse right on your doorstep. Roe deer in the surrounding woodlands are a treasured feature of the idyllic parishes of Ampfield and Chandler’s Ford, as we hope our village will be too.

A friendly game of chess. New faces. Great conversations. ♟️

To mark International Chess Day, we were delighted to welcome members of Chandler's Ford Chess Club to Ampfield Meadows for an afternoon of friendly competition and conversation.

Our residents enjoyed putting their skills to the test, learning more about the game, and sharing plenty of stories along the way. The result? New friendships, meaningful connections, and a wonderful reminder that community is built one move at a time.

You’ll often find Hilary in Creations, enjoying a lifelong love of sewing.

A familiar face at the sewing machine, Hilary has been stitching for many years and always has a new idea taking shape. This summer is no different, with a list of little projects ready to be brought to life.

A lovely reminder that it’s the simple things, the hobbies you love and the time to enjoy them, that make each day feel just right. 💛
