We are pleased to confirm that we have agreed the purchase of this site in a Catcott, Somerset.

We will be progressing this through reserved matters application, for the construction of 4x family homes.

Our aim is to be on site in spring of 2026 with the construction of these properties.

COMPLETED DEVELOPMENT

The final part of this development was the redevelopment of the former Manor House into 4x individual cottages.

Originally we looked at apartments, but felt that the layout and footprint of the original building suited a cottage format.

These were all purchased off plan, with gardens and parking to each unit and sizes ranging for 86 sqm up to 112 sqm, these were great sized 2/3 bedroom properties.

A freshen up of the external appearance and retaining some of the character inside where possible.

COMPLETED DEVELOPMENT

Forming a later addition rear wing to Stonebarrow Manor, we completed refurbished and remodelled the existing building, in addition these works, we also added a single storey vaulted ceiling extension to the rear to connect the garden to the house.

The garden wrapped around three sides of the property, with the extension opening on to a south west facing patio making the most of the afternoon/evening sun.

During construction works, we took down an old stairwell link the original Manor House to the later addition rear extension. This created a passageway to the front section of the building and made this build a stand alone detached dwelling.

Now forming a stunning 4x double bedroom, open plan kitchen/dining/ living space, plus a separate living room and study, given potential for a multigenerational home.

This was an interesting development with so many different aspects, but a stunning family home in a countryside location but a short way to the seafront and village centre.

Here’s one of our completed developments in Charmouth, on the Stonebarrow Manor Development.

This area was used as a garden area by the previous owners, but with nearly an acre of garden, and still plenty left around the site, we utilised the space to create this reverse level living dwelling.

This property has flexible accommodation with a large open plan space, separate snug/ study area, mason bedroom with en-suite and dressing room on the top floor, utilising the sloping site, providing access directly on to the rear garden and a terrace at the front enjoying views across the open countryside.

The ground floor level consists for 4x bedrooms with one en-suite, bathroom and utility with access into the large garage.

Solar panels and EV charging point finish this house off perfectly.

Now occupied and settling into the surroundings nicely.

Here is one of the properties from a completed development we finished.

This barn was in need of some updating, remodelling and some love. We certainly gave it that.

✔️ A full rewire,
✔️ replaster throughout,
✔️ repair of all the windows and a change in colour to make the stonework pop.
✔️ new modern kitchen
✔️ upgrade heating system
✔️ new bathrooms
✔️ landscaped garden

Internally we converted a large entrance hall that was a completed waste of space, to create a spacious utility area.

First floor level we remodelled to take 3 bedrooms all en-suite to a 4-bedroom with family bathroom, with a dressing room and en-suite to the master suite with a vaulted ceiling.

This is now a stunning family home in a picturesque Dorset coastal village.
