I started in corporate estate agency when I was 17.

At 23, I opened my own high street estate agency.

For 20 years, that business was a huge part of my life. I learned a lot about leadership, service, resilience and what it takes to build something from scratch.

Stepping away from the security of a successful business wasn’t an easy decision. But it was the right one for me and my family.

Agent MXM was born from a strong belief: more estate agents deserve the opportunity to build their own businesses and experience some of that success.

I’ve been through the highs and lows of running a high street agency. Now, I’m focused on helping others create something with autonomy, structure, and strategy.

I’m Mel.

I’ve spent years in estate agency. I know the pace, the pressure, the targets, the long days and I know how capable most agents are.

Outside of work, my family, friends and home life is what matters most to me. Ian and I have 2 boys, both smart, funny and great lacrosse players and both with SEN needs. We needed more balance. And building something aligned with our life has created that balance.

That’s a big part of why Agent MXM exists.

Not because the high street model doesn’t work.
But because I know how different it feels when you have ownership, autonomy, and a drive for more.

I’m not interested in hype or scale for the sake of numbers on a page. I care about doing this properly for our Agents.
