I thought i might post this!
I was asked to carry out a leak investigation using the Thermal imaging system. Heres a bit of background info, the house is 1 year old and the owners have had a water stain since they moved in. the original plumbers had been called back twice to check for the leak, both times they advised its probably the grouting or silicone from the upstair Ensuite.. these two items were replaced twice and the ceiling stain blocked and made good. Having returned again and in desperation they contacted us. the picture below should explain the issue, the stud wall is the adjoining wall where the shower control is.
