👋 Meet our 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 – Gergely Palfi

I’m a Project Owner at Catify, leading a team of CAD professionals delivering utility feasibility studies for infrastructure projects across the UK. My role includes project planning, resource allocation, quality assurance, client communication, and supporting the professional development of our team members.

What I enjoy most is the combination of people management and problem solving. Every project presents different challenges, whether it is finding the most efficient workflow, balancing resources, or helping the team overcome technical obstacles. I also enjoy working with a motivated group of colleagues where collaboration and knowledge sharing are part of the daily routine.

Rather than highlighting a specific project, I’m most proud of the team we have built and developed over the years. Watching colleagues grow from junior roles into experienced professionals, take on greater responsibilities, and become key contributors to the business has been incredibly rewarding. Creating an environment where people can learn, support each other, and continuously improve is something I consider one of my biggest achievements at Catify.

Most of my free time is spent with my wife and our daughter. I enjoy gardening and spending time outdoors, whether it’s working in the garden, exploring nature, or simply enjoying time with my family. I’m also interested in engineering, technology, and learning new skills that help me both professionally and personally.

Favourite coffee location: my terrace overlooking the garden, preferably early in the morning before the day gets busy
Favourite lunch location: outdoors with family and friends, especially if there is something cooking over a pit or smoker.
