To put that into context, the average property in Chelmsford is currently taking around 12 weeks to sell and once a buyer is found it’s taking nearly 15 weeks on average to get to exchange (27 weeks in total)

The result was multiple viewings and offers and a final sale agreed 5% above the asking price.
