As summer winds down, the 50plus team is still hard at it — finishing those last outdoor jobs before the weather turns.

One of our skilled tradesmen recently transformed a customer’s tired, rotten decking. The old boards were removed, the timber frame rebuilt, and a brand new composite deck installed that won’t rot or fade. A proper job, built to last.

Whether it’s plumbing, electrics, or those little handy jobs you didn’t get round to over the summer, the 50plus team is only a phone call away.

And with the night’s drawing in, now’s the perfect time to get your outside lights sorted. Safe, reliable, and ready for winter.
Your trusted local team — here when you need us.

From sorting out the electrics on a local church clock to repairing a much loved family chair, the 50plus team is always ready to help.
A long standing customer recently asked if we could restore a sentimental old chair. We collected it, repaired and strengthened it, and returned it looking as good as new — one very happy customer.

If you’ve got a dripping tap, lights that won’t behave, or a few jobs around the house that need attention, the 50plus team is only a phone call away. Reliable, skilled, and here when you need us.

Your trusted home repair partner.

When the church clock stopped, we stepped up!

Never ones to shy away from a challenge, our 50plus team were called in after a local church found their historic clock had suddenly gone silent.

A clock specialist had already checked the mechanism and discovered the issue was deeper — no power in the belfry.

So, we sent one of our electricians up the ladder. After a careful climb into the belfry, he traced the fault all the way back to… a poor connection in the vestry. One fix later, the clock was ticking proudly again.

From the straightforward to the unusual, plumbing to electrics to handyman jobs — the 50plus team are always up for a challenge.

If something’s not working at home, we’re only ever a phone call away.
