Our project is coming along nicely at Stretton.

Phase 1 - 2bed cottage with downstairs bathroom

Into

A 3x bed 2x ensuite with upstairs family bathroom cottage,

almost complete little bit of groundwork’s and landscaping outside to be done. And internal flooring.

It will probably be easier to tell you what hasn’t been done..

But I will list what I can here…

* Moved the stair case
* new upstairs floor layout.
* new water supply
* new oil supply, tank & outside boiler
* new Electric supply
* repointed external brickwork
* Took the roof off.
* rebuilt the chimney stack.
* rebuilt 4x dormer windows.
* took down and rebuilt the Dutch gable end
* put lintels in all windows (wasn’t any)
* put the roof back on, reusing slate
* 4x new vellux windows
* 16x handmade wooden double glazed windows and 2 handmade exterior Doors
* New built in kitchen with Granite worktops.
* Lifted all the ceilings to highest pitch.
* moved bathroom upstairs
* 2x en-suites
* opened up the chimney added log burner
* oak and black spindle staircase fitted.
* Fully insulated every wall and ceiling 🥵
* boarded and skimmed every wall and ceiling in plaster.
* Full rewire
* dug out internal footings.
* Added insulation and underfloor heating.
* Exposed ceiling Beams,
* skirtings and door frames
* internal doors including pocket doors to save space.
* Trenches dug externally
* External drainage
* retaining wall built to support the patio and garden area.
* mist coat white paint
