About Us… 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻🔨

Back in the 1980’s, in separate bedrooms on opposite sides of Liverpool, a teen boy called Jay was using his expert hands and keen eye to build his own elevated bed (so he could house his many reptiles underneath!), and a girl called Helen was lying on her single pine MFI bed, basking under a hired canopy sunbed and dreaming of a husband she could order about! 😄

Our paths crossed in a nightclub in Liverpool in 1996, we were married in Las Vegas in 2000 and along came three beautiful daughters to turn us both grey! 💓

Fast forward to today, for the past 15 years we have worked as a husband and wife team transforming people’s homes in Cheshire, Wirral, North Wales and Merseyside. 👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏻

From the pointing of a patio, to converting derelict barns into stunning homes, we have done it all! 👷

It is not always easy to find honest, trustworthy, reliable tradesmen 🔨 and our aim is to deliver a top class service we would wish to receive ourselves. ⭐

Floor tiling job in our own home (that I ‘forced’ Jay to do, whilst convincing him that the virus he had was “hay-fever” and nearly killing him with overdose of antihistamines 🙄)

Our kitchen is 30 years old and he reckons it is good for another 30 years too 😂😜, as I’ve got more chance of plaiting fog than getting him to work for me again 🤬

NEVER marry a woman who has ADHD… 😜 otherwise your bank holidays will be spent tiling your kitchen floor, after she ripped the old floor up on a whim. 🙈 (although this isn’t as bad as the time I came home to her smashing the en suite up with a hammer 😩)

We won’t discuss the fact she also bought tiles 2 years ago which are all different sizes (the importance of batch numbers!) 😂🙄
