First job this morning, and it was a tricky one to repair, the window would not close has the hinges were all bent and broken on both sides, also the glass was triple glazed, and with the position of the window, made it difficult to remove, before I could replace the hinges, and with the added danger of it being above a busy pavement in the centre of Matlock, job successfully completed and a very happy customer.

We changed this glass unit for a customer this week, we needed to have the bottom two vertical Georgian bars removed, so the cat flap would fit, as it was just on the limit of how much glass is needed to be left below the hole.

A little job from last week, it wasn’t my usual repair, but given I use to do my own lead work, I knew I’d be able to do a better job than what their builders had left them with, removed the old lead, and I managed to re shape and use again, and then replace the one piece that wasn’t the right size.
Left the customer very happy, with no worries the roof will leak in the future.
