The first completion took place at Bonham’s Field in Yapton today and we are delighted to be working with who will be supplying the welcome hampers at this development.

The cleaning products by can be refilled, the coffee is roasted locally by and there’s also a bottle of olive oil by which can also be refilled at the shop. There are other tasty treats included – who doesn’t appreciate a bar of chocolate!

The hamper is lined with a coffee sack and the welcome card is impregnated with flower seeds so can be planted in the garden!

We’ve not posted a beach clean here for a while but that doesn’t mean that we’ve not been busy behind the scenes on a regular basis. is currently running its National Marine Week (actually two weeks from 23 July to 7 August!) so here’s what was collected by one of our team last night at . There’s more than it looks as it had to be squashed into a small bag and it’s not a pretty sight!

Every year, an estimated 8 million tonnes of litter enters the world’s oceans. With our beaches getting busier during the summer holidays it’s so important that everyone does their bit to reduce this. Be a litter picker and not a litter dropper! Please take your rubbish home with you.
