In September we celebrated 10 years of owning Parkers Chinnor, a milestone that feels pretty special.
Buying the business from Mark and Clare in 2016 was the start of an incredible journey, during what was a very difficult time for our family. Working alongside Clare from the beginning has been a real pleasure, and her knowledge of the business has been invaluable.
We’ve created an amazing team at Parkers. I was lucky enough to meet Charlie almost 9 years ago, as a young and eager trainee. Seeing him develop over the years into a great estate agent, and now running the branch, has been fantastic.
As we grew, Karen came on board around Covid time and has been an invaluable member of the Property Management Team. Then, when we purchased Andrew Murray and Co a few years later, Grace joined us to run the lettings side of the business with many years of experience and a fresh set of ideas. Since then, we haven’t looked back, with the department going from strength to strength.
I’ve also been lucky enough to have Fiona in my team for many years. Fiona works on a Saturday, and you may have spoken to her over the years when booking a viewing, or met her at a property.
Most recently, Liz and Ollie have joined the crew. Liz brings great energy and loves meeting people out on viewings, while Ollie has joined the expanding rental team and has already gained a huge amount of knowledge about the sector.
Over 1,000 homes sold and rented, tens of thousands raised for local charities and causes, countless coffees drunk, and so many amazing people met and worked with along the way.
It really has been an incredible 10 years. What a blast it’s been!
