I spend a lot of time talking to buyers about what they’re looking for, and while everyone’s wish list is slightly different, there are definitely a few things that keep coming up…

🏡Detached family homes with plenty of living space.
🌳A good-sized garden for children, dogs and entertaining.
🚊Walking distance to the station - that London connection is still really important for lots of buyers.
🏫Being in the right school catchment - often just as important as the house itself for families making a move.
✨Homes that are ready to move into, but equally, some buyers are actively looking for something they can put their own stamp on.

There’s strong demand across different price points too, particularly for the right homes in Chorleywood and the surrounding areas.

A very happy completion day for the new owners of this detached home in Loudwater and judging by the smiles, I think they’re pretty pleased to finally be standing outside their front door!

Buying and selling a home can be a long journey, which makes moments like this all the more special.

🔑 EXCHANGED | RENDLESHAM WAY

One home. Two exciting new chapters. 🏡💙

I’m delighted to say that contracts have now exchanged on Rendlesham Way.

For the buyers, it’s an especially exciting milestone for my young first-time buyers purchasing their very first home and getting ready to make it their own. 🔑

And for my sellers, this move marks the beginning of their next chapter too, as they relocate to be closer to their friends.

That’s one of the things I love about property. Behind every sale there are people with their own reasons for moving, whether it’s buying your first home, needing more space, downsizing or simply wanting to be closer to the people who matter.
