Say hello to our Barn Owl chicks that have been nesting out on our nature reserve. 🦉

We have 6 healthy chicks, which is the most we've had born at Lower Mill Estate for a number of years.

This year has been a great year for Barn Owl chicks across the country, so we are thrilled to see that ours are doing well too!

Each chick is given a full health check and is fitted with a unique ID ring around its leg, which is important for the conservation of the species, helping us track the long-term survival of Barn Owls.

We are excited to announce that our official holiday booking partner, Habitat Escapes, has now helped fund more than 25,000 trees, mangroves and sea kelp through its partnership with Play It Green. 🌳

This has all been made possible thanks to our guests choosing to add a £3 donation when booking their stay.

That small contribution supports tree planting and agroforestry in Senegal, mangrove restoration in Kenya and Tanzania and sea kelp projects in Canada. It also helps create jobs, support livelihoods and deliver wider benefits for local communities.

In addition, 10% of the related revenue is given back to Dorset and Cotswolds wildlife.

Thank you to every guest who has contributed to this fantastic milestone.
