A garage conversion and modest front extension, plus timber framed porch and new windows were what was needed to bring this classic imitation stone blockwork house to life!

Internal remodelling on the ground floor and a contemporary single storey extension has transformed this pretty cottage creating a beautiful and spacious kitchen, dining and family room. Vertical timber cladding allows the extension to nestle gently alongside the house, plenty of glazing has been used to take advantage of the wonderful gardens.

We were kindly invited to tea and a tour of this gorgeous Cotswold cottage now that building work is completed. Planning was a little tricky at times especially with the house being grade ll listed and working around the biodiversity laws with the possible presence of bats and great crested newts! Consent was gained for internal renovation and conversion of the garaging into the kitchen and utility spaces.

We celebrated 20 years of Jagged Edge Design last year, when we started we were measuring buildings using tape measure and tilting levels, since 2015 we have been using this beast of a machine, incredible accuracy, speed and quantity of data makes measuring the windows in listed building in Malmesbury a piece of cake, from across the road!!

Gary says he has been computer modelling and animating now for about 26 years, so I guess he would be reasonably capable, but the interesting thing is that our images and animations are a non charged for part of our service, that enables our clients to better visualise their project. These are this weeks efforts.
