The swans have a new brood of four cygnets, and visited the garden this morning to show them off.

We've just upgraded our broadband to full fibre, so we now get in excess of 500Mb/sec download speeds.

It makes it very easy to stream multiple movies and TV channels.

And, if you want to work whilst staying at our beautiful location, then remote working (video conferencing, large document exchange and all the other ways you need to interact with the office) has become incredibly easy.

Of course, if you get distracted from your work by the swans, otters or deer that wander up the garden from the sea, we take no responsibilty 😁

Just in time for this week's Seil Island Scarecrow Festival (https://seilhall.org.uk/seil-scarecrow-festival-2024), Fat Juan has - yet again - visited us whilst preparing for weightlifting at the Olympics.

For the removal of all doubt, Fat Juan is the one on the left not holding a beer 😁

We were being entertained by these two deer having an extended argument. Not the season, I know, but it looked like rutting.

It's Scarecrow Festival week on Seil, and Fat Juan (a founding member of the Yucatan Ski Team) is back to carve a turn.

I heard some very noisy bird squawking at the front door. Turns out the birds were upset that this beautiful red squirrel was eating their peanuts.

It's the first time I've seen a red squirrel at Willowburn. I'm guessing I may need to order more peanuts.

Our resident swans recently produced a new brood of cygnets. The parents brought them right up the garden to introduce them to me.
