What a fantastic day we had at St Mark’s Care Home! 💛🌸

We were delighted to welcome family and friends for a day full of laughter, smiles and summer fun! 🥳👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

✨ A huge highlight was the brilliant and well-known magician Danny Lee Grew, who wowed us all with his amazing magic! 🎩✨ Everyone absolutely loved it! 👏😍

🍔🍰 Food, drinks, laughter and fun all round! 🥤🎶
It was wonderful seeing our residents enjoying such a special day surrounded by the people they love.

🎟️🌟 And a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported our Summer Raffle, which raised an amazing £177 for our Residents’ Fund! 💷👏

Our residents had a fantastic time enjoying a special Beach Hut Day here at St Marks Care Home! ☀️

The day was filled with seaside charm as everyone tucked into delicious fish and chips, shared stories of holidays by the coast, and enjoyed spending quality time together in a relaxing beach-themed setting. 🐟🍟

The familiar sights and atmosphere sparked wonderful conversations, happy memories, and plenty of smiles. It was a lovely way to bring the joy of the seaside to our residents and create another day full of laughter and togetherness.

Our team created a mobile sand pit, giving our residents the opportunity to experience the calming feel of sand right here at St Marks Care Home. This wonderful sensory activity brought back treasured memories of seaside holidays, sparked conversations, and encouraged relaxation and enjoyment.

Sensory activities like these are a fantastic way to support wellbeing, stimulate the senses, and create meaningful moments for our residents. From feeling the warm sand between their fingers to sharing stories of days spent by the sea, it truly brought smiles all around. 😊

Our residents, alongside their wonderful families and friends, enjoyed a truly unforgettable day filled with sunshine, smiles, and great company! 💛

The sizzling BBQ was a huge hit, with delicious food enjoyed by everyone, while our fantastic live singer had everyone singing along, clapping, and even dancing! 🎤🎶💃

It was heartwarming to see so many happy faces making special memories together on such a beautiful summer’s day. Moments like these remind us that it’s the laughter, friendship, and togetherness that make St Marks Care Home feel so special.

The sunshine was shining, the smiles were beaming, and our wonderful residents enjoyed a surprise visit from the ice cream van! 🚐🍨💙

Everyone loved choosing their favourite flavour, whether it was a classic cone, a delicious lolly or a refreshing ice cream. 🍦🍓🍫 It was lovely to see so many happy faces, hear lots of laughter and enjoy a little taste of summer together. 🌞😊

Sometimes it’s the simple things that create the biggest smiles and the happiest memories. ❤️
