🎄Our Christmas opening dates🎄

We’re open every Thursday throughout the year. Apart from 26th December, as we’ll all be lounging on our sofas, eating leftovers and Quality Street, whilst watching Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special. So, no market on Boxing Day. But we’ve moved it to Monday 23 December for you, so you can buy all your meat, fish and cheeses for your festive tables, and all those last minute pressies.

Just over two weeks to go until our next monthly weekend market on Saturday 7th September in Hay-on-Wye! 🎪

A fabulous day out if you’re local or from further afield and visiting our lovely little 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿border town for the day. Explore our fifty street traders and our independent high street, whilst enjoying delish takeaway food and treats. You could even combine it with an energetic stomp up Hay Bluff 🗻for the best view for miles, or a walk to Hay’s beach 🏖️, The Warren. Oh, and not forgetting an hour or two or three in our many bookshops, of course… 📚

We are very excited about the Free Easter Egg Hunt Hay Castle Trust with Eggs very kindly donated from Hay Spar and our Easter Bonnet Competition and Parade with Hay Vouchers very kindly donated from Hay Hay on Wye Chamber of Commerce. Sunday 24th March 12 pm - 4pm at Hay Castle.
