ACCESS Small 6cm step into the front door. The back door has a 13cm step onto the patio but it can also easily be accessed down the side of the cottage. Ground Floor -
The living room has two sofas each comfortably seating three people the scatter cushions are feather filled. There are 2 upright chairs with arms in the ground floor bedroom, nest 3 tables and a large floor cushion. There is a 40” Full HD 1080p LED Television with remote control, subtitles, and a DVD
Player, cards dominos and games are under the stairs. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you could possible need to list just a few: - Kettle, 4 toaster, large cooker, large fridge freezer, washer/dryer, oven trays, roasting dishes, mixing bowls, scales, large filter coffee jug, dishwasher, 8l slow cooker, microwave, cool box, water bottle and flask for picnics, food processor, steamer, variety of pans, tumblers, wine glasses and a radio. We also provide clean dish cloths, dish brush, hand towels and tea towels, oven gloves, aprons, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets, bin bags, tin foil and cling film. In the bedrooms we provide a bath towel and hand towel per person, and a hand towel in the bathrooms. Baby/child equipment:
INDOOR (you'll need to ask for in advance) - 2 travel cots- bedding included, plastic bowls, plates, cups, beakers and cutlery, 3 highchairs, 2 stair gates, large fire guard, 2 booster seats, bouncer, 2 indoor ride ons and large box toys, microwave sterilizer, 2 baby bath seats, bath toys, socket protectors. Main bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suit bathroom. Small twin bedroom, Main bathroom has a bath, sink, toilet and hand shower. Large twin bedroom can also be made into a super-king. The rear of the cottage steps out onto its own patio and shared garden, there is a large rattan table, parasol and 8 matching chairs, a BBQ is available for those warm summer evenings. Guests can relax in our garden and enjoy the birdsong and peace of the countryside, along with the splendid views towards Pendle Hill and down the Ribble Valley. There is ample parking right outside the cottage. Unfortunately, we do not have a special charging station for charging electric vehicles but it is possible to use a standard 3 pin socket in the cottage but it will cost £12 per charge for all electric type vehicles. This can be paid in cash to the owner. Alternatively, there are charging points at Clitheroe, Skipton and Settle. Surrounded by excellent walking, cycling and horse riding country we have Pendle Hill, Gisburn Forest and The Forest of Bowland just on our doorstep. The Settle to Carlisle Railway is close by and there are a myriad of pretty villages to discover. We are about 3/4 mile to village shop/cafe and pub, please see the village's excellent website:

There is a fabulous well stocked village shop and tearoom and are also several good local pubs serving a variety of food. This is a Non-Smoking Cottage and Garden and, with regret, No pets.
