Residents of Victoria Chase came out to applaud the NHS and key workers. Congratulations to Karen for a very emotional rendition of "You'll never walk alone". One good thing to come out of this crisis is a heightened sense of community. Please keep safe everyone.

After the latest government announcement and after carrying out a risk assessment and looking up all be it limited advice. I today sent this to cleaners. I consider communal areas a commercial area and therefore must be kept clean. Hopefully you will understand the common sense in the message sent but as I say this may be subject to change:

“With the latest government corona regulations I have a duty to protect both you and the residents I am responsible for.

The following may be subject to change and you ultimately need to decide for yourself.

As I see it though if you are a lone worker, travel to and from work on your own and wear protective equipment gloves and if possible face mask and as long as you keep your distance from other people then I see no reason why you cannot continue working, if YOU want to.

With regards to materials and shopping for such ideally this should be done online or otherwise infrequently as possible. Any used gloves or face masks should be bagged and kept for 3 days before being disposed of. “

I will also encourage the use of lone workers and those who work in groups will not be allowed on managed developments.

I wish for everyone to keep safe during this difficult time and although I must comply with any Government instructions hopefully we can between us keep any disruptions to the usual service, to a minimum.

With the tragic events of last Wednesday we would like to remind residents that we take the fire safety on all our managed developments very seriously.

Signage has always been displayed in the communal entrance to all managed buildings and complies with current regulations. As a company we ensure we comply with all current and future regulations and will continue to do so to ensure the safety of our residents.
