Landlords — the new rental property register is coming, and there are some important dates and costs you need to know about. 🏡

In the latest episode of "Property in Essex and Suffolk", Philip Boyden is joined by Paul Buck to talk through the Government’s new “Register Your Rental Property” service, what it will mean for landlords, what information you may need to provide and what you should be doing now to prepare.

For landlords in Essex and Suffolk, the current timetable shows the scheme opening in the East of England from the 15th of January 2027, with registration required by the 14th of April 2027. The confirmed annual fee is £65 per rental property.
