Community spirit at its finest! This is Chelsea. Not only does Chelsea not live in the village but she borrowed a strimmer to strim back all the hedge - going out of the village towards Newland. The hedge was overgrowing making it hard for vehicles to spot other oncoming vehicles and parked vehicles. She took a few hours of her day yesterday to make the road safer. Welldone and thank you

Hi I am looking for a lady who kindly paid for my shopping tonight in co op coleford. My 17 yr old daughter was on her way back from college and I asked her to pop into coop to grab me a couple items. I transferred her the cash into her bank but unfortunately it didn’t go straight through to her bank. When my daughter got to the till to pay, her card declined. She had £4 in cash but the shopping came to £4.05…. Mortified with a queue behind her she rang me while still at till and I could hear the sligh panic in her voice. Unfortunately, the transaction hadn’t gone straight through and freya was mortified. There was a lovely lady stood behind her who paid for the shopping after the coop would not let her off the 5p despite her upset and the queue behind her!!!! I would like to know who this lady is that so kindly paid for this so I can thank her personally and refund her. Absolutely disgusted with coop over 5p… when I met my daughter she was in tears because of the embarrassment. So to the lovely lady who made the embarrassment slightly less for her - please contact me! Please share!
