On Wednesday we carried out our second pack up of the week. With a 2 man team packing up a property in Timbersbrook in preparation for the house move on Thursday.
On Thursday we carried out the move with 2 men, packing some last minute items first thing before moving all the items to a residential property in Congleton.
The weather was nice to us on both days thankfully, as it can be a bit rough up here when it’s not.

On Tuesday, we carried out our first pack up of this week. Packing items from a 1st floor apartment in preparation to move them on Friday.
This process has been going on for the customer since May, so around 4 months.
We were packed up by 1pm and just as we were about to leave, he had a phone call.
His buyers had pulled out on purchasing his property, after 4 months, knowing we were packing today.
This shouldn’t even be possible, with no contracts exchanged leaving everything till a few days before like solicitors in this country seem to keep doing.
The service, and quality of the whole process in the country is massively broken, what used to take 6/8 weeks now takes 4-6 months and still when providing a shoddy service.
So we had to then unpack everything again, with a very disappointed customer.
Things need to change 😡

On Friday we carried out a 3man 2van sale and purchase house move between 2 properties in Biddulph 🏡
The sale was complete by around 11am and the purchase was done by around 12.30 meaning we could go straight onto the unload, which is unheard of on a Friday.
2 large wardrobes and a spring bed stripped and rebuilt as part of the move 🪛

Purchase complete by 2pm helping to keep us on time.

On Monday we set of early and drove down to Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire and loaded up from a bottom floor flat before making our way home.
We unloaded today into Apex Self Storage Congleton 📦
Followed by 2 sofas, collected from a property in Macclesfield delivered to a property in Congleton 🛋️

I was doing so well and keeping up with jobs on the day 🤣 it’s been a busy week so please forgive me.
On Wednesday we carried out a house move from a property in Timbersbrook to a property in Eaton.
A purchase but prior to that day, so not key wait.
With help from a small man with a big van making up a 3man 2 van team.
Our fault for not prior checking, but we couldn’t fit through the arch at the delivery address, which gave us a nice walk with 2 full vans 😅

Driving license required.
Gym membership at local Congleton gym included.
Must be fit and able to carry out the job, and able to turn up.
Reliability is paramount.

Following on from yesterday’s post. This morning we made our way from our hotel in Paignton to the customers property in Totnes, where we unload both vans taking 4hrs with rebuilding furniture, before making the long drive back home after.
A nicer drive home than it was down the day before.
