Life After the Services
OUR MISSION – To Reduce poverty, distress and suffering for homeless veterans. Working with veterans and civilians to help them become integrated back into society by giving them a platform towards independence.
OUR VISION – Our door is never closed and some lads who have moved on and found this difficult have returned. This highlighted the fact that the veterans need support once they have moved on and we now provide this for as long as is required. We are renovating two new properties as ‘move on’ apartments, this will mean that when they are ready they can stay under the umbrella of LOL’s support but with more independence, this will include being in employment, re-engaging with their family & friends etc. We recognised that the lads not only need stability they also need the opportunity to build their credit history along with good references for both housing and employment opportunities.
