There can't be many places you can park a 21st century removal van and be sandwiched between 2000 years of history! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ On one side, Chester's Roman City Walls - 2000 years old, and on the other, a row of cottages - 400 years old!!!
It's a brilliant reminder that in Chester and all over GREAT BRITAIN πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ history isn't something you have to hunt for in a museum. Sometimes it's literally right there, either side of your van doors.
Incidentally, me being 6ft 3" tall, I literally could not stand up in the cottage 🀣🀣🀣

🚚 THIS IS WHY REMOVAL MEN SOMETIMES DON'T LIKE GOING INTO ATTICS… 😳
You're clearing an old house.
One of the lads goes into the loft and a couple of minutes later shouts down:
"Andy… come up here a minute."
I climb up and he's standing at the far end of the loft staring at an old wooden box.
It's covered in dust.
There's no lock on it.
But there's a piece of paper taped to the lid.
It simply says:
"DO NOT OPEN AFTER DARK."
😳
There are what look like nail or claw scratch marks on the floorboards next to it.
Now here's where it gets weird…
We checked the time.
It was 6:47pm.
And it was already getting dark outside.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I was out and about yesterday and saw fuel prices range from Asda Β£1.89 (Β£8.60 per gallon) to Β£2.20 (Β£10 per gallon!!!) How the F*** are we supposed to run a transport business?? TRUMP was funny for a while, but please America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ - GET RID OF HIM NOW πŸ™
