Engaged by the specialist remediation works contractor, Ashdan provided quantity surveying and commercial management support, including a presence on site for over 18 months during the extensive enabling and sheet-piling works for this multi-million-pound mixed use development in the centre of Durham City. Projects of this scale require strong coordination, financial control, and clear communication throughout every stage of the construction process.

Our role included supporting programme management, appointing subcontractors, monitoring and controlling costs, along with representing our client during valuations with the developer. Developments such as Milburngate House highlight the importance of experienced commercial support behind the scenes - helping projects move forward efficiently while maintaining quality, organisation, and attention to detail throughout delivery.
