When Sam and Denis asked Walmsley’s to sponsor this local classic, we didn’t hesitate 🙌 We love supporting the community that supports us, and this one’s always a highlight.

From veg and garden flowers to preserves, baking, crafts and photography, the talent on show was unreal 🥕🌷🍰

What dedication, and honestly, how anyone grew anything decent in this summer’s weather is a miracle in itself 😅

Raffle, auction, presentations and a proper afternoon of community spirit, couldn’t ask for more 💚

It’s certainly been a hot one - in more ways than one.

📉 Nationally, we’ve seen fewer instructions and sales agreed. No surprise really: summer usually brings a third fewer viewings (and offers), simply because buyers are off enjoying their own holidays.

📌 On our patch, though, it’s been a different story, on- and off-market sales completing, happy buyers, happy sellers. We’ve even held back some new listings on purpose, so they’d launch to a market that could actually do them justice.

🔑 September’s looking busy. Expect more “For Sale” boards going up, and more clicks on Rightmove, Facebook & co.

More buyers = more competition too, so we’re staying sensible on pricing rather than discounting into a quiet summer market.

Our plan: watch the first couple of weeks of September closely, then move fast and smart to get your home sold first - and for the best price.

💡 Buying onwards? The real win isn’t just your sale price - it’s securing your next home. Sometimes a slightly softer sale (to the right buyer) is what unlocks the negotiation on your dream home.

❤️🎬 Just so proud of Finham Park School (and the legend that is Mr Gunn) for what they achieved this year! The “Finding Solace” premier was one of the most emotional evenings I’ve ever had in a cinema (E.T and Field of Dreams aside🫣)!

Last Saturday we had the privilege of attending the premiere of 'Finding Solace'—the culmination of Film in a Year, an extraordinary project led by Finham Park School, a secondary comprehensive, in Coventry and held at the University of Warwick Arts Centre. We were delighted to be asked to provide...
