Asthill Grove Coventry - Garden Room Extension & Revamp Kitchen

The client’s brief here was to build a garden room for the summer & fit a new kitchen. After working on several design proposals, it was settled on a building a new brick-built room extension with two sets bi-fold doors to two sides and a large roof lantern on flat roof. The old kitchen sink wall was removed and opened up into the garden room to create one large open modern living space. A large VELUX electric window was fitted to the pitch roof in the kitchen to increase the natural light into the middle and back of the kitchen.

We replaced the old kitchen units with modern grey linear cabinets and doors, and created a large island with breakfast bar and sink to make it the central focal point of the kitchen. New white granite worktops were fitted to match with the new white floor tiles. We installed mood lighting to give a more romantic night lighting in the kitchen area.

We also installed a long drop chandelier to the roof lantern with colour changing LED lighting strips and a wave plaster feature to enhance the lantern area.
