The evening was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and fantastic company as our residents celebrated together.

Congratulations to Lionel, who has won the Age UK Solihull raffle and a delicious chocolate bouquet!

The raffle was kindly hosted by Caremark Solihull, who raised a total of £93 to be donated to Age UK Solihull, helping to support older people in our community.

We’re incredibly proud to have Albany Meadows featured on Solihull Council’s website, sharing the story of our Christmas gift collection for foster children across Solihull.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing residents and the local community, we were able to collect a wonderful range of gifts to help make Christmas a little brighter for children in foster care.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported, and helped spread the word — your generosity will mean so much to so many children this Christmas🎄💚

Kind hearted retirement village residents provide presents for foster children

A Heart-Warming Day at Albany Meadows! 🎁

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome Councillor Karen Grinsell, along with Sarah and Denise from Solihull Fostering, to Albany Meadows.

They joined us to collect an incredible 131 Christmas present donations, all of which will be distributed to foster children across Solihull this Christmas!

A huge thank you to our wonderful residents and the local community for your kindness, generosity, and festive spirit. Your support will help make this Christmas a little brighter for so many children.

Last Thursday, we hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning here at Albany Meadows, and what a fantastic turnout it was!

With plenty of delicious cakes, fresh coffee, raffles, and great company, we’re delighted to share that together we raised an amazing £341 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
