Good news for anyone thinking about a move this summer, the UK property market is holding steadier than you might expect.

While the wider world feels uncertain, buyers and sellers are quietly getting on with things. Mortgage approvals in March hit their highest level in four months, and the average home is now selling in just 32 days, down from 39 in February.

If you've been waiting for the "right time," it's worth knowing the market is a lot more active than the headlines suggest. Demand has picked up since Easter, new properties are coming to market, and people who need to move are moving.
